Role Overview 

We are looking for a high-performing and strategic Assistant Vice President – Sales to drive revenue growth across our Ahmedabad, Bangalore, and Pune markets. This role is suited for a seasoned sales professional with a strong background in technical, cybersecurity, or SaaS solution selling, and a deep understanding of the data privacy and compliance landscape. The ideal candidate brings an established network within the CISO, DPO, CIO, and Legal communities and has a proven ability to close enterprise deals. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Drive end-to-end enterprise sales cycles, from prospecting and lead qualification to proposal development, negotiation, and closure. 
  • Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets across assigned geographies and industry segments. 
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with C-level stakeholders including CISOs, DPOs, CIOs, and Heads of Legal. 
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the data privacy, cybersecurity, GRC, and compliance solutions space. 
  • Collaborate with consulting and delivery teams to craft tailored value propositions and winning proposals for prospects. 
  • Represent Privacy Pillar at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to strengthen brand presence and credibility. 
  • Maintain accurate pipeline records, forecasts, and account updates in the CRM system. 
  • Provide market intelligence and client feedback to support product and service development strategies. 

What We’re Looking For 

  • 3+ years of experience in technical sales, cybersecurity sales, or SaaS solution selling. 
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets in enterprise environments. 
  • Demonstrated experience selling data privacy, cybersecurity, GRC, or compliance solutions. 
  • Strong existing relationships within the CISO, DPO, CIO, and Legal communities. 
  • Solid understanding of data privacy regulations including GDPR, India DPDPA, ISO 27701, PDPL, and other global frameworks. 
  • Familiarity with privacy technologies such as consent management, data discovery, RoPA, DPIA, and vendor risk management. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Law, or a related field. 
  • MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is preferred. 
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive-level presentation skills. 
  • Self-driven, target-oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
