Role Overview

We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join Privacy Pillar as Data Privacy Trainees. This role is open to fresh graduates as well as professionals from other domains who are looking to transition into the data privacy space. If you have a keen interest in data privacy, are IAPP certified, or are currently preparing for an IAPP certification exam, we’d love to hear from you. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the delivery of data privacy consulting engagements under the guidance of senior consultants. 

• Support the development of privacy documentation including privacy notices, policies, RoPA, and DPIA templates. 

• Conduct research on global and Indian privacy regulations including DPDPA 2023, GDPR, CCPA, and other applicable frameworks. 

• Participate in gap assessments, compliance reviews, and privacy audits for clients across industries. 

• Contribute to the preparation of client reports, presentations, and internal knowledge resources. 

• Stay updated on evolving privacy regulations, enforcement trends, and industry best practices. 

• Collaborate with internal teams to support practice development and knowledge-building initiatives. 

What We’re Looking For

• Any graduate degree in Law, Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 

• IAPP certification (CIPP/E, CIPM, or CIPT) is preferred; candidates appearing for the exam within 2 months are strongly encouraged to apply. 

• Strong interest in data privacy, compliance, and regulatory frameworks. 

• Good research, analytical, and written communication skills. 

• Willingness to learn quickly and take ownership in a fast-paced consulting environment. 

• Prior exposure to legal, compliance, IT, or risk management functions is an advantage for career changers. 

• Self-motivated with a proactive attitude and a collaborative mindset.
