Role Overview 

We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and client-focused AI Governance Consulting Analyst to join Privacy Pillar’s AI Consulting Practice. This 6-month internship is designed for recent engineering graduates with a background in AI/ML who are passionate about the intersection of AI, governance, and data privacy. Selected candidates will work side-by-side with experienced consultants and senior leaders, engaging directly with clients to manage risks related to their AI systems, with a specific focus on data privacy, ethical use, and regulatory compliance. 

Eligibility 

  • 2024 or 2025 graduates with a B.E., B.Tech, M.E., M.Tech, M.S., or equivalent degree. 
  • Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields with a strong foundation in AI/Machine Learning. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Work alongside senior consultants to support client engagements related to AI governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance. 
  • Assist in the design and implementation of client-specific AI Governance Frameworks, with a strong emphasis on data protection principles and privacy-by-design methodologies. 
  • Develop and apply a working understanding of key global AI and data privacy regulations including the EU AI Act, NIST AI Risk Management Framework (RMF), ISO/IEC 42001, GDPR, and CCPA. 
  • Actively participate in conducting technical and compliance AI assessments of client applications, evaluating risks related to data leakage, de-anonymization, bias, and transparency. 
  • Create professional deliverables including detailed assessment reports, privacy impact analyses for AI systems (PIA/DPIA), and policy documentation for clients. 
  • Interact with client stakeholders including Data Scientists, Legal teams, and Privacy Officers to ensure governance and privacy requirements are successfully embedded in the AI lifecycle. 

What We’re Looking For 

  • Recent graduate (2024 or 2025 batch) from an Engineering discipline such as Computer Science or Information Technology. 
  • Foundational understanding of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning concepts including training data, model interpretability, and model lifecycle. 
  • Demonstrated enthusiasm and willingness to learn and apply complex regulatory concepts related to data privacy and AI ethics. 
  • Professional demeanour with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage effectively in client-facing environments. 
  • Excellent ability to research, synthesize technical and regulatory information, and present findings clearly and professionally in both written and verbal formats.
