Role Overview 

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Consultant – Data Privacy to join our growing practice across India. This role is ideal for a privacy professional who is eager to apply their regulatory knowledge and technical expertise to design and implement privacy programs, conduct compliance assessments, and deliver meaningful outcomes for clients. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in global privacy laws and leading industry frameworks. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Support business development activities and contribute to client acquisition efforts. 

• Design and implement privacy and data protection programs tailored to client needs and regulatory requirements. 

• Conduct gap analyses, audits, and compliance reviews to assess the maturity of clients’ privacy posture. 

• Work with leading frameworks including ISO 27001, ISO 27701, NIST, and HITRUST to deliver structured and robust solutions. 

• Advise clients on regulatory requirements including GDPR, CCPA, PDPL, and DPDPA 2023. 

• Develop and maintain privacy documentation including privacy policies, assessment reports, and strategic roadmaps. 

What We’re Looking For 

• 2+ years of experience in data privacy, compliance consulting, or a related field. 

• Hands-on experience with regulatory compliance, risk assessments, and privacy program management. 

• Working knowledge of frameworks such as ISO 27001, ISO 27701, and NIST. 

• Familiarity with global privacy regulations including GDPR, CCPA, and PDPL. 

• Strong skills in policy development, privacy documentation, and incident response. 

• Good communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable recommendations. 

• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver under timelines. 

• Preferred certifications: CIPM, CIPP/E, CIPT, LI ISO-27701.
